Water Edit

I cropped one of my water shots and added a fish eye effect to it. It wasn't anything dramatic but it gave the water a more exaggerated effect.

Water

This week's assignment was to take pictures of water with either stopped or blurred motion. Here is some of my work. All of the pictures were taken in the BYU-Idaho gardens. These pictures were taken while it was overcast.

Finished Panoramic

I used the photomerge tool in Photoshop to merge my 6 pictures together. I have to say I had my doubts about how well it would work with my pictures, but it turned out really well. After I did it, I had to flatten the image in order to eliminate the cracks.

So this week's assignment was to take several individual shots and then merge them together in photoshop. Here are the individual shots. They aren't anything special but in the next post you'll see how they turned out after the photomerge tool. I didn't use a tripod but used my hand and rotated it like I would have a tripod

Finished Template

Here is the finished product! I was a little sad because I had to crop out one of my friends on the Thursday square. Other than that it turned out fine. I didn't make any changes to the template because I really liked it as it was!

A Photo a day!

So I had a lot of fun with this project! Friday's picture was of the HUGE storm that we got and we just happened to be walking in the middle of it and I had my camera with me. Saturday we went to Idaho Falls for the day and this picture was us on the way down. Sunday's picture is of a rainbow but it is really faint. Monday was my roommate's birthday and we made her wear a crown all day long. Tuesday is a picture of my planner and my to-do list because it was a really busy day. Wednesday is a picture of my co-worker dancing at work. Thursday (this morning) is a picture of me and some friends at breakfast. I had a lot of fun with this project and am going to try and continue taking at least one picture every day to document my day!

Color Replacement

For this edit, I used the magnetic lasso tool to select Tyler's shirt. I then changed the hue to change the color of his shirt from sky blue to a minty green. It was a bit difficult to do since his shirt was divided up by his guitar and his sunglasses and I had to do it in about 3 sections. Here is the before and after
