Bannack Grunge!!

So on Friday, May 15, we went on a Photo Excursion to Bannack, Montana. We spent the whole day taking pictures. Here are some of my edits.

5/15/09; Bannack, Montana; Aperture 2.7; shutter speed 1/40; Sony DSC-H50
This is the original image. It is of the layers of wallpaper which were added to as the years went by. The tour guide affectionately called those layers of wallpaper "layers of life". I adjusted the levels, added some effects, and added some text to get the next picture.
The finished effect

This shot is a picture of Hotel Meade. I did an overlay blending mode with a texture shot I took of some faux bricks. I got some grunge font and blended it with 'screen' blend.
